Smartie + Jelly Bean = Jartie

Posted: 22nd September 2015

In the UK and quite a few other countries (although I understand not the USA), Smarties are little coloured chocolates wrapped in a coloured crunch sugar shell. Kids love them, but I always find them a bit too sweet. Accidentally, when picking on my son's pick'n'mix, I seem to have discovered a use for them: I ate a jelly bean (the cheap and sticky kind you get in pick'n'mix) and accidentally had a Smartie attached - tasted way better than either alone. New invention - I claim dibs on the name - "jarties".
